ABOUT THE WORK
Artwork Description
A small, dense composition where a pale hand reaches across a field of turquoise, pink, and gold. A metal chain curves through the image, anchoring collaged fragments—jewelry, paper, texture—into a surface that feels both precious and discarded. The hand is ghostly, almost translucent, as though it is fading or emerging from the paint.

THE ARTIST'S VOICE
Interpretation / Story
Hand And Chain reads as a study of the human figure, identity, and emotional presence, surreal perception, luminosity, and altered states, abstract structure, texture, and subconscious association. The layered mixed-media surface turns image, texture, and material detail into a luminous and prismatic, intimate and emotionally charged atmosphere, inviting slow looking and a personal symbolic reading.
The hand reached through rust and chain, holding nothing but the weight of having tried.
WHAT LIVES INSIDE
Hidden Images & Symbolic Elements
The hand is an offering or a plea, suspended in a jewel-like space. The chain suggests connection, bondage, or a tether to something unseen. The small scale and dense composition create a sense of a personal talisman or a recovered artifact from a dream.
