In Entranced Despondency, emotion becomes architecture.
Figures seem to melt into walls of color, their forms dissolving into drips of paint that resemble tears.
The palette — violet, smoke, rust — evokes the stillness after heartbreak.
Yet beneath it lies hypnotic calm, an almost sacred sadness.
The painting gazes inward, frozen in that moment where grief becomes trance, and surrender turns to strange peace.
