In Darkness Descends, shadows pool like living entities.
Layers of black and indigo shift into deep maroon, revealing faint glimmers of form — perhaps figures, perhaps ghosts.
The painting carries a pulse, as though it breathes under its own veil.
It speaks of surrender: how descent into the unknown can be both peril and revelation.
Light is not banished here; it hides, waiting to be rediscovered through faith in obscurity.
